Before launching WhiskerCover, Alex spent years working at the intersection of insurance, technology, and customer experience, building comparison tools and integrations for insurance marketplaces. After watching too many friends get blindsided by vet bills and confusing policy exclusions, he decided to create the resource he wished they'd had from the start: clear, opinionated guides that explain how pet insurance really works in everyday life.

Alex lives online inside product docs, pricing tables, and T&Cs so you don't have to, and he's obsessed with translating industry jargon into decisions real people (and their pets) can feel confident about.
